Fendi has worked with artisan Kim Eun-young, a specialist in Maedeup, the traditional Korean craft of tying and fastening a single string to form ornamental knots. Incorporating mangsu, traditionally used to embellish the ceremonial attire of kings and queens during the Joseon Dynasty, the Baguette's colour palette is inspired by the sunset seen from Munsuam Hermitage in western Goseong, Gyeongsangnam-do, with clouds veiling the view.
