Last October 18th, 2023, a new edition of FENDI Action Day took place in Italy, during which its colleagues dedicated half working day to voluntary environmental activities.
THE PROJECT
FENDI collaborated with RETAKE, an organization dedicated to restoring beauty and promoting urban regeneration across Italy, fostering civic awareness and emphasising the responsibility of each citizen in contributing to the civil and economic growth of cities.
Over 300 colleagues actively participated in the revitalisation and cleaning initiatives at Parco Fluviale Alex Langer in Fermo and Parco della Caffarella in Rome.
This marked a significant milestone as colleagues from Rome extended invitations to their families, creating an inclusive Action Day with many activities for children from 3 to 10 years old.
The result of this collaborative effort was remarkable: a total of 500 kilograms of waste and 150 kilograms of glass were successfully collected. Additionally, the team managed to restore 20 benches and 2 picnic tables, an achievement that makes FENDI proud and serves as an inspiration to continue enhancing our Planet.
