Leather

Leathers with handcrafted workmanship (e.g. embossed design colors, particular shades, custom colors) and natural grain leathers are unique in appearance. Please protect printed designs or motifs from bumps/scratches to better maintain their integrity over time We recommend cleaning the leather with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged contact with other materials of different colors to prevent any transference. Light-colored fabrics may experience shade variations especially if overexposed to artificial or natural light.

PATENT LEATHERS
Please protect the painted leather from bumps/scratches to better maintain its integrity over time. It is advisable to avoid prolonged contact with other leathers and coatings of different colors to prevent any transference.

LAME' LEATHERS: The external appearance should be protected by avoiding scratches, bumps or rubbing which might irreparably damage the object. Colored laminates may experience changes in color over time. In the case of precious laminated leathers with scales (pythons, rat snake, etc.), variations in the uniformity and linearity of the surface may occur due to the natural lifting of the scale.

NAPPA LEATHER
Nappa leathers are particularly delicate due to the nature of the article (lamb).

SUEDE LEATHERS
Suede leathers are characterized by a "chalkboard" effect. The absence of surface treatments makes it particularly delicate to abrasion. This means that in normal use, the surface of the leather may vary (shortening of the hair, polishing of the surface and dusting of the surface that leaves deposits on other objects) and undergo color variations.

Fine Leathers and Furs

Fine leathers have a unique and natural look enhanced by extremely light finishes. For this reason, some of the individual features of the animal may be accented (e.g. slight scars and small imperfections), as well as offer less resistance to environmental factors (sunlight, artificial light, rain).

With glossy finishes, it is normal that over time the surface becomes opaque.

With normal use, the lifting of scales (pythons, rat snake, etc.) and/or follicles (ostrich) is natural, and thus the surface may vary in uniformity and linearity.

AGATE-POLISHED CROCODILE

The completely handcrafted agate-polishing process (agatatura) gives depth to the color that further enhances the naturalness of the leather.

The skins of fur animals (e.g. mink, ermine, sable...) are processed using hand workmanship, which makes them unique and precious. The products may in fact feature hair that differs in size, color, length and thickness.

These qualities cause the visual effect of the drawings, motifs or anything else present on the product to vary. The item should be treated with care to keep the appearance and softness of the hair intact, which may in any case deteriorate with normal wear and tear. In case of contact with water, please allow to dry naturally. Hair-on hides have unique characteristics, given that the length may not be uniform and, beginning with its first usage, may incur small losses that stabilize over time.

Embroidery and Weaving

Particular care should be taken when using the item, protecting it above all from abrasions that might alter its original appearance, as over time the fibers may tend to open and lift. In case of need, please use the repair KIT supplied with the product and  contact the store.

Wicker, Wood and Straw

WICKER/RATTAN
Small differences in color or irregularities are characteristic of the material and of the craftsmanship of the product. The shine of the product is achieved by applying varnish so it is best to avoid friction.

WOOD
Wood is a natural material that is sensitive to moisture and heat. It is best to avoid exposure and to limit bumps or friction that might damage it.

STRAW AND RAFFIA
Natural raffia yarns can display different color nuances that lend uniqueness to the purchased item. Particular care should be taken when using the item, protecting it above all from abrasions that might alter its original appearance, as over time the fibers may tend to open and lift.

Fabrics

The fabrics used have an original appearance even after undergoing treatments to make them suitable for their use. Light-colored fabrics may experience shade variations especially if overexposed to artificial or natural light. Please clean only the stained location with water and neutral soap and then allow to dry at room temperature, before placing the product back in the dust bag.
For fabric accessories please follow the washing instructions on the labels.

TEXTURED FABRICS
Coated fabrics are characterized by films applied to the surface, which give them unique characteristics. To preserve the uniqueness of these characteristics, it is best to avoid repeated and prolonged rubbing over time, as well as accidental contact with solvents or alcoholic solutions (e.g. perfumes). We also recommend keeping the item away from excessive heat sources.

VELVET, CHENILLE, SPONGE
Velvet, chenille and sponge materials are recognizable by their distinctively soft touch. Given the type of fabric, under normal use conditions aesthetic variations due to rubbing and surface abrasion may occur. We recommend keeping this item away from water and, if it gets wet, it should be air-dried and then put back in its dry fleece.

SATIN AND SILK
The fabric is made with delicate fibers consisting of smooth continuous threads. During normal use of the product this feature may be delicate and some threads may be pulled. It is best to use the product carefully given its delicate nature.

NYLON
Nylons are lightweight fabrics. The fabric is made with delicate fibers consisting of smooth continuous threads. During normal use of the product this feature may be delicate and some threads may be pulled. We recommend that special care be taken during use.

WOOL AND CASHMERE
The fabric is made of wool or cashmere and is soft and warm to the touch.
During use, slight lifting and openings of the fabric fibers may occur. We recommend that special care be taken during use.

Polymers

Polymers feature good mechanical resistance over time, which means that they may experience a reversible change of appearance if exposed in a prolonged manner to sources of heat and cold. It is best not to expose the product to light for a long time. The product can be cleaned with a damp cloth and neutral soap, if needed.

Metallic Accessories

In order to maintain the original appearance of the metallic accessories and/or components present in our products, we recommend cleaning the surface with a dry and smooth cloth, avoiding bumps and friction, and contact with aggressive substances (e.g. solvents, perfumes, acids, and abrasive products). In the case of special "vintage effect" finishes, the accessory may vary its external appearance due to the craftsmanship of the aging treatment, which makes each product unique.
If necessary, clean with water and neutral soap and/or polish with a dry microfiber cloth.
