Hand in Hand: Madagascar

The Baguette crafted by Made For A Woman reinterprets traditional Malagasy designs into an intricate pattern of different stitches. Working with locally sourced raphia, the artisans created the bag from four different crochet squares tied together, outlined by three-toned raffia with fringed edges. A macramé braid runs over the Baguette, its flap and shoulder strap, embellished with exquisite carnelian beads.
