Hand in Hand: Liguria
Local expert Rosalba Niccoli continues the painstaking tradition of macramé that, according to legend, arrived in Liguria in the 15th century. Still today, artisans in the region weave and knot thread by hand, using only small pins to hold them in place across a padded pillow. For her Baguette, Rosalba created macramé stripes in a rainbow of hues, completed with signature Fendi leather.
